Description
Deep obsidian and slate tones mix with rich textural grain to invoke the spirit of traditional Japanese shou sugi ban technique, which involves burning and charring wood as a protective exterior finish. Our Deep Sumi Oak is finished with a specialty protective, low-volatile organic compounds polyurethane topcoat that emotes the same rich "charred" effect without the mess and flaking common with shou sugi ban. Use it as an elegant and bold choice for interior wall and ceiling paneling projects.
