The History of Clarus
Clarus was established in a garage. From a garage, to a bigger garage, to a state-of-the-art facility, Clarus’ continual exponential growth has required the company to relocate to larger facilities five times in nine years within the U.S. Now, the company that began with one wild idea has permeated not only the United States, but also the United Kingdom and other global markets.
The Vision of Our Design
The Clarus design team invents new ways to use the most basic form of written communication in the most modern ways. The walls of offices are steadily coming down to create open spaces with fewer walls and more personal interactions. Whether it’s wall-mounted, on wheels, attached to a workstation or sliding across the wall, Clarus’ glassboards maximize existing space and provide hundreds of square feet of beautiful, writable glass.
As the leaders of the glassboard industry, Clarus is initiating a revolution – changing the way manufacturers serve customers and emphasizing how every detail of production, customization and installation establish the value of our brand. Clarus created glassboard manufacturing technology that allows our end users to customize glassboards in any way.
With Colors by Clarus, you choose from more than 150 standard color options for your glassboard. And if one of those colors isn’t quite right, our color matching technology can create custom colors of any shade.
Clarus ColorDrop brings high-resolution printing to the world of glassboards. Whether it’s a logo, a high-resolution image from corner to corner, or simple charts, patterns and gradients, ColorDrop lets you decide how detailed the glassboard’s design will be.
The Clarus design team has created glassboards for every imaginable surface. From glassboards that roll from room to room, attach to walls and cubicles or glide across walls, the function of a Clarus glassboard is established by you. The only limit is your imagination.
Adhesion
Safety is a priority for our design team. With that in mind, Clarus subjected our glassboards to intensive adhesion testing, proving that our glassboards withstand more than 6,500 pounds of sheer force. Our manufacturing process makes our boards the safest, strongest and most durable glass writing surfaces on the market. And we have the test results to prove it.
