Our History.
Our successful company has existed for 157 years. Founded in 1863, Küberit USA is the market leader in manufacturing aluminum profiles for textile and elastic floor coverings and profile systems for all hard floor coverings, such as laminate or parquet.
The first production of metal profiles already had started by 1920. In the next 10 years, we produced profiles made of plastic. By the end of 1993, this production stopped, and Küberit focused on aluminum, brass and stainless steel.
Through European branch leaders as customers for laminate, wood floorings and elastic coverings, Küberit established itself as major supplier for the floor covering industry by 1990, and laid the foundation for its prominent market position. The high and constant quality, as well as innovative application solutions, made Küberit, especially in the last 27 years, the one to turn to for the floor covering industry worldwide.
