Wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge soaked in water. For basic stains, clean with a mild detergent or all purpose cleaner. To maintain a uniform appearance, periodically clean with a mild abrasive or a wet blue Scotch Briteâ„¢ pad. Can be disinfected using a solution of 70% denatured alcohol and 30% water. Avoid strong chemicals that can cause damage, such as oven cleaners, acetone, and paint removers. Deep scratches can be removed by carefully sanding with 120 grit, followed by 220 grit, and finishing with 320 grit sandpaper. Complete by rubbing the surface with a wet, green Scotch Briteâ„¢ pad in a circular motion to restore the finish. Different methods can be used depending on the finish. For deep scratches and/or other damages which may require expert repair, please contact your authorized Hanex Solid Surfaces repair agent or Certified Hanex Solid Surfaces fabricator. Refer to Care & Maintenance Guide for additional information

Installation
Sheets are installed on perimeter framing support. Reinforce with single-thickness wood or tubular steel cross-members every 18in. To ensure proper installation, solid surface sheets are only available to certified fabricators. Material can be cut using circular, table, or panel saws, and hand-held or CNC routers. When cutting, make sure all pieces are supported. Do not use jig saws, hacksaws, or auger bits. Seams should be placed at least 3in away from any corner or cutout. Sheets are able to be thermoformed. Refer to the Fabrication Manual for additional information.
Manufacturer Notes
Do not place hot items directly on surface. Always use trivets with rubber feet. Hot pans or heat-generating appliances may cause damage to the material. Direct and indirect heat reaching temperatures of 338°F or above should also be avoided. Do not cut directly on the surface; use a cutting board
