Wash with water and a non-chlorinated, non-abrasive cleaning product. A daily or after-use wipe down is generally enough to maintain the surface appearance and cleanliness. The optional use of a carnauba wax can help slow the patina process, and will help protect the surface over time. Turtle Wax- Super Hard Shell or Mother’s California Gold Pure Carnauba Wax are recommended. Simply buff wax onto the surface per the manufacturer’s recommendations, then buff off with a microfiber cloth. More frequent applications will slow the change in patina. Avoid contact with acidic materials and harsh chemicals. Do not use rubber mats on the surface, but be sure to use a cutting board when necessary
