Aerial photos of a landscape were the basis for two pattern variations that Bowers created through digital manipulation of the perspective and planar geometry. As in all of his Chromolus creations, Bowers challenged the need for uniformity within the patterning, while maintaining a balance of color and composition. For the Ochre and Cobalt colorways, clusters of multicolored organic shapes yield to the dominant background shade. A more overall pattern and limited palette emerges in the Iris and Jungle options. All variations are printed on the same easy-to-clean and disinfect Supreen® hybrid upholstery.
For over 50 years, Wolf-Gordon has served the architecture and design community as the comprehensive source for interior surfacing products. In addition to contract wallcoverings, Wolf-Gordon designs upholstery and Rampart™ wall protection. Scuffmaster paints and Wink clear dry-erase coating round out this American design company’s products.
